What is it? Design Build is a system in the construction industry, in which one single enterprise will be contracted to handle both the design of the project as well as all of the construction needs.

A major benefit of this is it mitigates the hassle of too many touch points for the client, as the Design Build Contractor will be the sole point of contact throughout the entire project.

Hands-On Throughout the Entire Construction Cycle:

From initial conception to job completion, the contractor is responsible for all phases of the project. From identifying key project requirements to project objectives, the D-B Contractor will develop a project plan to meet the client needs.

This includes:

  • Assembling a qualified team of Architects and Engineers.
  • Hiring and staffing construction professionals to develop and execute the project efficiently and effectively to exceed expectations.

Hired to Make Your Vision a Reality:

From pre-construction to close-out, an experienced and qualified contractor will make adjustments as needed throughout the entire process.

Keeping the client informed on all new unfolding’s; working hands on to mitigate the day-to-day nuances and complexities that come up throughout the construction cycle.

Project fruition happens through creating and maintaining strong relationship's with the client, with full transparency and accountability along the way.

Why It Works:

Allows Creative Freedom:

Working in close collaboration with the team of architects, engineers, and all other personal helps the contractor be able to share ideas more effectively. This overall, ensures the end results meet and exceed the client expectations.

Design build opens the door for collaboration amongst all team members, from client, to contractor, to laborers, allowing them to work together throughout all stages of the construction cycle.

Promotes Cost Savings:

The contractor is responsible for both the design and construction of the project, which enables them to identify potential cost savings and efficiencies early on in the process.

The experience of the GC can save hassle, time, and money, allowing them to come up with the best solution possible, from their vast knowledge in the construction background of what will work, be most effective, save money, and still be on par with clients desires.
